What happened? A seemingly fabulous idea utilising easily accessible technology has again fallen flat? Time after time I have seen email groups and now discussion boards regarding trans/partner topics fall flat. And why? I'm certainly not sure. I've even had groups fail and not for lack of marketing. Has the novelty worn off? Has transitioning become such old hat that these types of dicussion formats are no longer needed? Have the internal camps become so splintered that the common ground of discussion and the sharing of ideas (the salon effect, if you will) has taken a backseat? I don't know. For the most part, my husband and I left the "community" behind a few years ago for mixed and various reasons, so maybe the answers are out there and I just haven't been around to hear/read them. But I thought that this would be a good resource to send women that I might come in contact with who were ignorant of the informatiuon available to them. Sadly, it appears that it is not.
