Hi, I am a new member and very happy to come across these pages. I am a femme from germany (so please excuse my english) and I am living together with a butch since a few years. My partner is now in the process of some sort of transition. She wants to have her breasts removed (which feels perfectly fine for me, because they donīt belong to her). What I am afraid of is that s/he will also decide to take hormons and want to become a man (right know s/he feels as an in-between-person). This whole process is also quite disturbing for me because I very much identify as a femme lesbian. And I worry what taking hormones would change in her behaviour. Someone out their with similiar experiences? Would be great!

Hi Deirde,

These are a couple of articles that you may find helpful.

http://www.ren.org/rbp07.html

http://www.transfamily.org/dillon.htm

Being transgender is not something your partner can help anymore than being a lesbian.

I hope it helps. I have a website as well that may show you a little about the transitioning process.

Take Care ;D
